Mr. Happy | Washington DC Baby Photographer

I have the cutest clients ever, just thought I’d throw that out there. Mr. B is 8 months old and today (after a few reschedules) we met up to do his photo session. The weather could NOT have been nicer and he was all smiles and so sweet for me.

I found this blue wall a few months ago during a session and have been trying to figure out where it was ever since. Today as we were walking around Capital Hill I saw it and almost did a little cheer, I adore it.

I love this shot, I want to hang it on the wall and pretend it’s me and my son. Kidding of course, but I do love it.

Photographing a very active & mobile baby on a bed is not only a workout but also an adventure.

I do love a more non-traditional family shot too.

C family, so nice seeing you today, I hope these photos were worth the wait.

Fun on the Hill | DC Baby Photographer

I have a confession, I love photographing toddlers as much as I love newborns and babies. Ages 1.5 – 3 are very, very tough ages to photograph but I love the challenge and I love getting to know these little people and their personalities. Figuring out what makes them giggle makes me smile and I feel like I’ve made a little friend by the end of the session.

Today’s session was a lot of fun, we spent the morning wandering around Capital Hill and finding lots of really awesome little spots to take pictures. I love going into the city and finding new beautiful streets and buildings every single time. Both kids were super good sports and I had so much fun capturing these photos even if I was sweaty and exhausted at the end, it’s ALWAYS worth it.

Sweet baby C is 7 months old and one of the most laid back babies I’ve ever met!

Big brother L will be 3 in about a month and has the most amazing hair and eyes!

I think Mom said it was going to be impossible to get a decent family photo, I’m so glad I could prove her wrong. I adore her outfit choices too.

Such a little darling!

And speaking of darling, how cute is she?!

Birthday Boy | Washington DC Baby Photographer

I LOVE this little guy! He has always had the most adorable cheeks and even today at his one year session he still has them. I feel like we just did his newborn session but here we are a year later and little man is walking, pulling up and already a big boy.

9 Months & Adorable | Washington DC Baby Photographer

Oh it was a HOT one today in the city but the heat was worth it to spend some time with this 9 month old cutie! He was so easy going and loved hamming it up for the camera.

I love shooting Downtown, it’s so fun finding cool spots around every corner. These doors were a part of an old church.

SO Big! | Washington DC Baby Photographer

I can’t believe that this sweet little newborn that I photographed last May is already 14 months old! Miss P is definitely enjoying her independence now and would rather walk (or run) than be held. We had what might be the nicest weather ever today (unlike our crazy snow session we had in January) and enjoyed walking around Capital Hill. It’s definitely a happy yet sad occasion to see another one of my baby planners “graduate” but I’m sure I’ll see this family again in the future.

I seriously adore all of her hair!
