Beautiful Morning | Virginia Child Photographer

It’s so awesome to watch my little newborn clients grow up. I met sweet little Lily last February at 9 days old and this morning got to do a session with her and her family. The weather was absolutely perfect and both kids were so well behaved as we went through Old Town Leesburg.

Can you believe that tiny little newborn is now this beautiful little blonde?

Mom says this doesn’t happen often so I was SO glad to get a photo of Jack hugging Lily.

The Fab Five | Virginia Family Photographer

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the L family and all 5 of their beautiful children. My older sister has 4 kids so I’m used to lots of kids running around but the heat outside today definitely made it a challenge. What made my job great was that these 5 kids are all so well behaved and sweet they were a lot of fun to photograph.

Okay since there are 5 kids this will be an extra large sneak peek!

This is S, she’s the baby of the family at 20 months old and has the most amazing eye lashes and eyes!

Big sister S is the oldest and was such a good helper!

Here we have the 3 brothers.

Here is A who is the middle of the bunch standing by what Mom called Dad’s 6th baby, his willow tree.

Sweet J is the oldest of the boys and also a super helper! I had lots of assistants today.

And, but not least we have S who is the baby of all of the boys. All of these kids have such beautiful sparkling eyes!

A Beautiful Family | Virginia Child & Family Photographer

Last night I had the pleasure of meeting the J family. With the nasty heat we’ve been having we planned a sunset session hoping to beat the heat but it was still SO hot. We made the best of it and the gorgeous surroundings of their golf course neighborhood and had a great time! I don’t get to do larger families too often but when I do I really enjoy them. It’s awesome to see the different dymanics and relationships between all of the siblings.

Beach Sessions June 10-20th Outer Banks, NC | Outer Banks, NC Family Photographer

Just a quick reminder that if you are going to be down in, or already live near the Outer Banks, North Carolina book your beach sessions with me NOW. I will be down there from June 10th through the 22nd and have a few dates still open. These will be sunset sessions on the beach or wherever else you would like near the beach. I consider myself a part-time local down there since our family owns a home in Duck so I am very familiar with the area.

Tiny & New | Virginia Newborn Photographer

This little guy arrived 10 days ago and was one of the sweetest, tiniest newborns I’ve had in a while. He weighed in at about 5.5 pounds and was such a great little sport for us today. When Mom said that she’d love to get a shot of J in Daddy’s Steelers helmet I knew he’d be a perfect fit.

I love how they’ll have this as a reference as to how small he really was because they get big FAST!
