About the Artist:

I am completely inspired by babies and children. I find everything about their young lives to be so beautiful, whether it be a newborn's wrinkled and flaky new skin or a toddler’s first wobbly steps. Gummy smiles and belly laughs make my heart soar and I feel so blessed to be able to capture all of these fleeting moments for my clients.

I specialize modern, fine art newborn & baby photography. I love what I do and it shows in every photo I take. My style is very organic and natural; you'll never hear me utter the words "say cheese". I'm also very flexible and will try to work with you to get the best results. You will walk away from a session with me with unique and original photos that will be treasured forever.

Inspired by our nightly ritual of reading "Goodnight Moon" to our son Carter, the name Little Moon Photography was born.

Perfect Fall Day | Ashburn Virginia Family Photographer

I can’t believe how warm it was outside today, usually by the end of November we are dealing with 20-30 degree days and even snow, but today was simply perfect and over 70 degrees. I had not one, but two family sessions and both were amazing.

First off, my morning session. These two kids could not have been sweeter or better well behaved, I loved this entire family.

M family, it was so nice meeting you all today!

Second session will come at a later date with a super duper big share. Now how did December creep up on me already? I haven’t even thought about shopping or decorating the house for Christmas yet, I should get on that.

Class of 2012 | Northern Virginia Senior Photography

Also known as “what I did on Thanksgiving break”. Had an awesome 4 days filled with family, friends and fun which included a trip out to my Dad’s farm on the Eastern Shore, Maryland where I was able to do some Senior Portraits for my sister Marie and her classmate and friend Charlie. Seniors are super fun to shoot and we had the most amazing weather on Friday evening for these photos.

And my little sister Marie who looks like she hopped out of an Anthropologie catalog.

Dad’s farm now has new babies, baby fainting goats! Here is Beyonce, Nilla and Tina, they are about 2 weeks old now and are the sweetest things ever. Yes, they are wearing Santa hats.

And a shot of my two babies in Dad’s barn, they love visiting the farm.

Two Fun | Alexandria Virginia Child Photographer

I can’t believe I photographed him as a newborn over two years ago and haven’t seen him since he was 6 months old. Time flies and he’s turned into the most adorable toddler ever. We had a so much fun jumping in puddles this morning in beautiful Downtown Old Town Leesburg, I was crossing my fingers after a few rainy days and today was beautiful.

T family, it was so great seeing you all again today!

Birthday Boy | Virginia Baby Photographer

I can’t believe that sweet Will is already 1! I remember doing his newborn session right as I was slowly coming back from maternity leave last year and I swear, it seems like that was last week. Time seriously flies with these little ones but it’s so much fun watching them grow up.

He was a DOLL today for our session, so happy and smiley even braving the cold outside for some fun outdoor shots.
