About the Artist:

I am completely inspired by babies and children. I find everything about their young lives to be so beautiful, whether it be a newborn's wrinkled and flaky new skin or a toddler’s first wobbly steps. Gummy smiles and belly laughs make my heart soar and I feel so blessed to be able to capture all of these fleeting moments for my clients.

I specialize modern, fine art newborn & baby photography. I love what I do and it shows in every photo I take. My style is very organic and natural; you'll never hear me utter the words "say cheese". I'm also very flexible and will try to work with you to get the best results. You will walk away from a session with me with unique and original photos that will be treasured forever.

Inspired by our nightly ritual of reading "Goodnight Moon" to our son Carter, the name Little Moon Photography was born.

Sweet 17 | Maryland Newborn Photographer

This little man arrived early just like his big brother 19 months ago so today I got to meet him on his 17th day of life. He was an absolute dream and I attribute that to the fact it was 100 degrees outside today. We went outside for a few photos and he conked out and was putty in my hands. Such a sweetie!

We did this same hat/pose combo with big bro and I can’t get over how much they look alike!

Ah, pure bliss. There is nothing more amazing than being a Mom those first few weeks, as exhausting as it is.

Happy Boy | Virginia Baby Photographer

This little man is only a few days older than my Reed and was such a little charmer for his session today. I love this age because they are so inquisitive about their surroundings and happy. He was showing off his new trick, clapping!

Look at that chub, so cute.

This right here is why I always insist that Mom’s get at least one photo with their babies. Love it.

I love it when clients bring family heirlooms to include in their photos, makes them so much more meaningful.

Bellissima | Virginia Newborn Photographer

A year and a half ago I was photographing her big brother and today I got to meet the 3rd addition to this beautiful family, a baby girl! She was 4 weeks old today so a little older than most newborns but was born a little early so she was nice and sleepy for us. She was so sweet and calm I could have cuddled her all day. She’s one lucky girl to have two big brothers to watch over her as well.

10 Days New | Virginia Newborn Photographer

Last time I saw them big brother was a darling little 6 month old (who had my most favorite nursery EVER), now he’s an even more darling 2 year old with a beautiful baby sister!

Sweet little T was the perfect model, she slept the entire time and then we woke her up at the end for some awake shots. She might have been one of the easiest newborns I’ve photographed ever and so, so pretty and sweet.
