This little sweetie was absolutely perfect at 17 days old today. She slept like a dream, gave me eye contact when awake and is just so beautiful.

The best part of my job is seeing my clients through the years as their families grow. These newborn sessions mark such huge milestones in their lives, and I feel so honored to be able to capture that.
I feel like I photographed Mason as a newborn a week ago but it’s been nearly two years and he’s now a big brother! Baby brother Nolan was such a little doll and was so behaved for his first photo shoot! I think he looks SO much like his big brother did at this age.

I was so lucky to have photographed this little lady on day her 13th day of life. She was a dream to photograph and I enjoyed every minute of doing so!

As the year comes close to the end I find myself reflecting back on this past year and counting my blessings. This year I:
- Opened a retail studio in the heart of my town.
- Started teaching workshops.
- Watched my oldest turn 4 and youngest turn 1!
- Travelled many miles.
- Shot over 195 sessions, 106 of those being Newborns.
I am so thankful for each and every one of my amazing clients and feel honored to have captured so many of those first days with their new babies. Life is beautiful!

This little guy was such a treat, he gave me some awesome eye contact when awake and then zonked out for some great sleepy shots. He is so, so loved by his parents and I adored his sweet chubby cheeks.
