2 Months! | Virginia Baby Photographer

Really? This was a month ago? Time is flying by and my little man turned 2 months old today, on MY 34th Birthday.

He’s such an awesome little dude and has changed so much in just a short month. He now lights up our world when he gives us gummy smiles and sweet coos and is sleeping 8 hours straight at night! I don’t think Carter slept 8 hours straight until he was 4 or 5 months. It’s funny how different each baby really is! This one is also still a great little nurser and is completely chunking up, my guess is that he’s well over 14 pounds now, maybe 15. I will find out tomorrow at his 2 month appointment.

I like to joke that he’s storing nuts for the winter in those cheeks.

He loves his Mimi (my Mom) so much and I have a feeling it’s mutual. Look at that neck control! He’s so close to rolling over, I’m sure that’s coming soon.

He also loves his big brother and enjoys watching everything he does.  His big brother loves him too, the first thing he wants to do in the morning is love on his baby brother.

He’s looking more and more like his Daddy every day. I thought juuuust maybe I’d get one that looks like me but I don’t think so.

He’s most definitely a laid back dude.

But not really a big fan of hats, after I put this hat on him our photo session was over, lol.

How did I ever get so lucky to have all of these awesome boys (big & small) in my life? I’m so, so blessed. :-)

Family | Easton Maryland Family Photographer

I’m a bit behind on blogging images lately, I am going to blame it on having a newborn and a toddler underfoot. ;-)

These are from our trip to my Dad’s farm on the Eastern Shore a few weeks ago, it’s become a November tradition to head up there the first weekend of goose hunting season so the boys can hunt and us ladies can relax and enjoy lots of wine. It’s also the perfect weekend to get updated family shots for my Dad & other family members and luckily the fall color stays longer out there than anywhere.  We had such an amazing time and I love the images I got and can’t wait to see how the Christmas cards turn out.

Love this one.

Um, how did my brother and sister get to be adults all of a sudden? I very clearly remember changing diapers.

This is Petey, Marie’s horse. He’s a sweetheart and is BFF’s with Milkshake the mini donkey.

Speaking of Milkshake, we had to get a family shot with him. Is he not the cutest?

My favorite freshman at Virginia Tech.

Carter and his Grandpa. He worships my Dad and follows him around everywhere he goes and loves riding in his “hiccup” truck.

Next year I WILL get my act together and get some real shots of my own family that weekend…

Miss Independent | Washington DC Baby Photographer

I’ve loved watching Miss H grow up this past year! Last time I saw her she was sitting pretty and is now running around at full speed ahead. At 15 months old she wants nothing more than to explore her surroundings which is fun but also poses a challenge when you are trying to get photographs. We had a frosty morning but had a lot of fun and got some awesome pictures!

Their back yard in the city is cool little oasis. They have an amazing mural painted on their house and this fun swing for H.

It’s just amazing how much she’s changed since just April!

Weeeeeee, a action series!

There are so many fun places to take photographs in the city, today we went over to Union Station for a few shots.

Love how you can see the Capital in the background.

J family, always a blast hanging out with you all! Enjoy your holidays!
