Just a quick note to let you all know that we are heading out of town to the Eastern Shore, MD for a few days of R&R. I will be back in town by Sunday and will respond to all emails and phone calls by then.

This little dude is two weeks old, a tad older than most of my newborns but as sweet as could be. While he sleeps he makes the cutest little noise I can only compare to a cat purring and if I wasn’t pregnant already, I’d run out and get pregnant. SO CUTE.
I keep saying I should blog less photos in my sneak peeks but I have NO SELF CONTROL when I have a baby this cute, I just have to share.

I met this family 2 years ago when I photographed their first baby girl as a newborn. I was able to watch her grow up before my lens and now, a year later I went back to photograph her baby sister! I can’t tell you how fun and rewarding it is to watch an amazing family grow through the years and I can’t wait to watch baby J get bigger.

Such a proud big sister, she adores giving her baby sister lots of kisses. She would go outside playing with her Daddy and as soon as she came back in the door she wanted to know where her baby Josie went. Adorable, made me so excited to give my Carter a sibling.

Congratulations O family, your newest addition is absolutely perfect, it was great seeing you all again!
Ah, these photos just scream boyhood curiosity to me. We got a little break in rain on Sunday and went outside to explore and I took along the camera.
BTW, these were all shot with my 135L at f/2.0 (and 5d MKII). I am LOVING that lens lately, it sat in my camera bag unused all winter so I’ve been giving it a workout lately.

He looks so sweet here. His latest thing is when we ask him where the baby is, he lifts his shirt and points to his tummy. I guess he thinks he’s pregnant too, lol.

I can’t wait to see him become a big brother, he seems to think it’s a baby sister in there, we’ll find out on June 7th!
Just a quick reminder that if you are going to be down in, or already live near the Outer Banks, North Carolina book your beach sessions with me NOW. I will be down there from June 10th through the 22nd and have a few dates still open. These will be sunset sessions on the beach or wherever else you would like near the beach. I consider myself a part-time local down there since our family owns a home in Duck so I am very familiar with the area.
