About the Artist:

I am completely inspired by babies and children. I find everything about their young lives to be so beautiful, whether it be a newborn's wrinkled and flaky new skin or a toddler’s first wobbly steps. Gummy smiles and belly laughs make my heart soar and I feel so blessed to be able to capture all of these fleeting moments for my clients.

I specialize modern, fine art newborn & baby photography. I love what I do and it shows in every photo I take. My style is very organic and natural; you'll never hear me utter the words "say cheese". I'm also very flexible and will try to work with you to get the best results. You will walk away from a session with me with unique and original photos that will be treasured forever.

Inspired by our nightly ritual of reading "Goodnight Moon" to our son Carter, the name Little Moon Photography was born.

Sweet Baby Girl | Northern Virginia Baby Photographer

Today I meet Miss M, she is six months old and is the sweetest little girl ever! She had missed her morning nap but you would NEVER know, she was smiley and the perfect little model. She had fun showing off her new skill of sitting, which she just mastered this week.

Here are a few favorites.

Look at those deep blue eyes, such a beauty.

I love taking photos of babies in their perfectly decorated nurseries.

Happy First Birthday! | Northern Virginia Baby Photographer

Remember this precious newborn? He just celebrated his First Birthday!

It was so fun to see him all grown up this time and still sporting that beautiful blonde hair. He is such a sweet and loving little boy who loves to be on the move all the time. I really enjoyed capturing him at this age and seeing the love between such an amazing family.

When I first got there he was just waking up from his nap, I LOVE those first few smiles when they just wake up.

Baby Blue Eyes | Alexandria Baby Photographer

Remember this adorable newborn? He’s now 6 months old and as cute as can be. His eyes are seriously so amazingly clear blue that I was so excited to edit these tonight. Today we spent some time down in Old Town, Alexandria where Mr. X showed off his new skill of sitting!
