Have I mentioned it here yet how much I LOVE this age?! Seriously, it doesn’t get cuter than a cute 6 month old’s gummy smiles and chubby legs. This little guy did not disappoint!

Okay so I’ve totally slacked on doing these once a week but I promise I’m going to try and get better!
* Remember that trip I talked about in my last WW? Well it never happened. Turns out our bulldog was rushed into emergency surgery and had 45 baby wipes pulled out of his belly. We were supposed to leave as this happened so needless to say our trip was put on hold. He’s worth it though and is recovering nicely but it definitely hurt the wallet…
* Luckily we are headed to the Outer Banks end of May/beginning of June so a vacation isn’t too far away.
* Speaking of beach, I’m SO ready for Spring to arrive already. Last weekends teaser was just that, a tease.
* Carter LOVES going to the park and I can’t believe what a big boy he is, he can climb up all of the equipment and even go down all the slides by himself. He’s SO hard to take photos of these days but I did get a few cute ones this past weekend during one of our park trips:
This one was caught mid-running away from me and I love it because it’s so him.
* I’m so happy that both Dancing with the Stars and American Idol are back. Who are your favorites so far???
* My new computer monitor is so big it blocks my view of the tv so I have to peek around it.

Happy Wednesday to all of you, the weekend is right around the corner.
Someone is getting SO big! Today was sweet little A’s 6 month photo shoot. I swear these past 6 months have flown by and he’s going to be crawling and walking before we know it. I was so excited because the weather was so amazing so we were able to take our shoot outside. Six months is the PERFECT age to schedule a photo shoot, the baby can’t crawl away from you and they are sooooo happy, makes for awesome photos.

A boy and his dog. I love that I caught him mid slurp and I adore the look of pure joy on A’s face.

For the nosy (or other photographers), this entire session was shot with my 85 1.2L and a lot were shot pretty wide open. That lens is like butta!
