About the Artist:

I am completely inspired by babies and children. I find everything about their young lives to be so beautiful, whether it be a newborn's wrinkled and flaky new skin or a toddler’s first wobbly steps. Gummy smiles and belly laughs make my heart soar and I feel so blessed to be able to capture all of these fleeting moments for my clients.

I specialize modern, fine art newborn & baby photography. I love what I do and it shows in every photo I take. My style is very organic and natural; you'll never hear me utter the words "say cheese". I'm also very flexible and will try to work with you to get the best results. You will walk away from a session with me with unique and original photos that will be treasured forever.

Inspired by our nightly ritual of reading "Goodnight Moon" to our son Carter, the name Little Moon Photography was born.

Three Weeks Beautiful | Leesburg Virginia Newborn Photographer

This sweet little lady came into the studio on her three week Birthday! She was an absolute doll and I loved taking photos of her. She’s going to be one of the best dressed little girls in the DC area as her Mom is a professional stylist and blogger over at MyDCStyle, the go to site to find out what the trends are.

And of course Mom looks drop dead gorgeous even after having a baby.

Three Weeks New | Washington DC Newborn Photographer

This sweet little girl came into the studio at 3 weeks old and was so good for me. She slept so peacefully and had the prettiest creamy skin and auburn, spiky hair. She was just perfect!

Rolls | Leesburg Virginia Baby Photographer

Last time I saw sweet Reed he was 11 days old, he’s now the cutest, happiest and chunkiest 8 month old I’ve ever met. I swear they need to look into baby modeling because he was just hamming it up for the camera and I never tire of baby belly laughs and squeals.

Look at those arms, I just want to nibble on them.

Birthday Girl! | Leesburg Virginia Baby Photographer

Phew, I’m back! Between moving and then recovering from gallbladder surgery, it’s been a crazy week. Days 1-4 were rough but by day 7 I was feeling back to myself and went back to work at the studio.

This little girl was my first session back and I was so excited to see her! Last time she came to the studio she was 6 months old, it’s amazing how much they change in 6 months!
