Just a little bit about me. First and foremost, I'm a Mom to a crazy, adorable toddler and I believe this is what makes me a better photographer. He inspires me daily and helps me see the beauty in everything, big and small. I'm able to connect and understand my subjects and capture the true emotions of growing up, bonding as a family, celebrating a milestone, or expecting a miracle. I specialize in natural light, modern, custom portraiture. I love what I do and it shows in every photo I take.
My style is very organic and natural, you'll never hear me utter the words "say cheese". I'm also very flexible and will try to work with you to get the best results. You will walk away from a session with me with unique and original photos that will be treasured forever.

I haven’t shared one of these in a while but figured I’d share this amazing session with 10 day old newborn twins. I posted the sneak peek a few weeks back but figured I’d come back and share the whole session. 
Just a quick administrative note, please don’t fret when you see no action on the blog for the next week. I’m headed out of town to the beach for the holiday. I hope you all enjoy the long weekend!!
Ahhh, where has time gone? This little guy is already 7 months old! I was so excited for this session because last time Dad was out of the country and this time he is back home so some great family shots were a MUST do today. I’m amazed that little M is already pulling up, standing, and crawling. To top it off he’s SO, SO freaking cute!

I found this stoop at an engagement session I did a few months ago and had to return to it for a few shots today. I LOVE it.

Little Miss C kept me on my toes today. She is SO much like my Carter I felt like I was at home during our session. C loved running around and around and around but did sit for a few photos. She has the most beautiful dark brown eyes, I love how dark eyes photograph, they reflect the light so nicely.

Remember this little beauty? Well she’s 9 months old now! We had a blast out at Meadowlark Park today and Miss R. was so smiley and happy for the camera. She’s at that fun age where she’s pulling up on everything and it makes for such cute portraits.
Ages 6-12 months are seriously the PERFECT age for a photo shoot, babies are so smiley and can’t run away from the camera like toddlers.

Lots of newborns around here lately, have you noticed?
I’m still playing catch up from my vacation a few weeks ago. I had quite a few clients that were due while I was gone and right when I got back and this one just couldn’t wait until his due date. Sweet little S kept me on my toes and my washing machine busy. He would give me the sweetest little smile and then would proceed to go number two on my blankets. The smile was worth it though and I think Mom and Dad would agree since they drove 3 hours to have a session with me, I love a dedicated client.

These two bundles of joy were only 10 days old for our session today. They join an absolutely amazing family including a sweet and loving three year old sister. I had SO much fun photographing these beautiful babies today, it was a lot of work but so worth it.

Miss A was nearly two pounds smaller than her twin brother S, she had no problems cuddling right onto her brother here:

These two gorgeous parents-to-be are expecting a baby girl in just a few short weeks. Miss K has quite possibly the most perfect belly I’ve ever seen, she’s one of those lucky girls that only grows a belly and nowhere else. Judging by her parents, this is going to be one beautiful baby girl.

I know I say this all the time but I LOVE 6 month olds and could shoot this age all day, every day. This little guy was no different, Mr. J has the most beautiful blue eyes and the cutest gummy smile. He just learned how to sit up and was showing off that milestone to me today. You know when you meet two people and you can instantly feel the love between them? I met such a couple today. S & P are expecting a baby girl in a few weeks and not only are they both beautiful people inside and out but they are so in love that it made me smile.
